Polygonatum falcatum 'Tiger Stripes' is an attention-getting variegated selection of the Asian native, deciduous Solomon's Seal. Polygonatum 'Tiger Stripes' produces 2' long arching thin stalks, adorned on the upper half of each with 6" long green leaves, highlighted by creamy veins. The vein color of the foliage fades in summer heat, but the stalks remain, and are adorned in September and October with abundant and attractive fruit clusters (2-4 fruits each) that emerge green and age to purple black.
