Is xHeucherella 'Solar Eclipse' the best xheucherella ever introduced? It very well could be...what an amazing plant! The 16" wide clumps are composed of dark purple leaves, each edged in a ring of chartreuse. Many patterned-leaf xheucherellas fade in the intense heat of summer, but with xHeucherella 'Solar Eclipse', the color actually intensifies in the heat. The amazing clumps are topped in late spring with spikes of white flowers, but you're growing this for the foliage...wow!
