Dianthus 'Razzlepop' was an exclusive 2023 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction from our friend, Hans Hansen. This splendid hardy carnation has earned a "ten" in our trials in the hot, humid, rainy southeast US. The tight 1' tall x 2' wide mound of silver blue foliage is topped for us, starting in early May with a dense show of deliciously fragrant, 1" wide semi-double cerise-colored flowers with a prominent central darker red eye. Of the 165 different dianthus that we have trialed since the mid 1980's, Dianthus 'Razzlepop' is one of the few selections at the top of our list.
