Delosperma 'Perfect Orange' is another in the line of new ice plant hybrids from Nishikawa Koichiro of Japan's Florsaika, this one with butterscotch orange flowers, each highlighted by a white eye. The mass of small flowers of Delosperma 'Perfect Orange' hover just above the fleshy green, drought-tolerant foliage from very early spring until late summer. Delosperma 'Perfect Orange' is the only one of the Jewels of the Desert series that survived our brutally hot summer of 2012.
