Campanula 'Essex Blue' is new 2026 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction from NC plantsman Mike Lowe, who found this outstanding selection growing on a road cut in New York's Adirondack Mountains (Essex County). We're not sure what a Serbian bellflower was doing there, but we're sure there is a great back story. In the nineteen years we've grown this, it has been a superb garden performer in both part sun and light shade, forming a 10" tall x 4' wide patch, topped in spring with a stunning show of light, lavender-blue, up-facing flowers, and nary a seedling.
