Agave parryi 'Lucky Stripe' is a special variegated selection of the US native Agave parryi ssp. parryi we picked up from a California collector in 2009, and are only able to share for the first time in 2023. This slow-growing, slowly-offsetting form with a wide creamy yellow border will eventually reach 10" tall x 18" in width...in time for your grandkids to enjoy in their retirement years. We've failed twice with this in the outdoor garden, but we expect that was due to too much moisture than to a lack of winter hardiness. For now, we're enjoying it as a container specimen where it thrives.
