Yucca 'Garland Gold' is a selection of our southeast US native Yucca flaccida from New Zealand that's very similar in appearance to the better known Yucca 'Golden Sword'. Yucca flaccida 'Garland Gold' forms a striking 2' wide and tall deer-resistant clump with wide golden bands down the center of each green leaf. The new growth spurt in late summer provides the most dramatic color effect in the garden. In summer, the contrast fades as other colors take over in the garden. In late spring, 6' tall spikes of white bell-like flowers adorn the clump.
