This variegated salvia is a Barry Yinger introduction from Japan. Salvia 'Fuji Snow' has a growth habit similar to Salvia koyamae (but half the size) with hairy green leaves that form a basal rosette which expands to a 2' wide clump. Each leaf is surrounded by a white margin that becomes muted during the hot weather. During late summer, the clumps are smothered with 18" stalks of light yellow flowers...WILD AND WONDERFUL!
