Sabal minor 'Wakulla Dwarf' is a wonderful genetic dwarf strain of the southeast native Sabal minor from near Crawfordville, Florida...just south of Tallahassee, shared with us by NC palm guru Jesse Perry. For us, Sabal minor 'Wakulla Dwarf' makes an 18" tall x 3' wide evergreen specimen topped in late summer with a 3' tall seed stalk...perfect for the tropical fairy garden. Like typical Sabal minor, Sabal 'Wakulla Dwarf' can be grown in sun or shade and in wet or dry soils.
