We received this amazing Phlox carolina selection from Alabama native plant specialist Jan Midgley, who found it while canoeing down the Little Cahaba River in Bibb County, Alabama. For us Phlox carolina 'Lil' Cahaba' starts flowering in June with 22" tall stalks of pinky-mauve (Pantone 249) flowers. Each billowing clump of Phlox carolina 'Lil' Cahaba' makes a real showpiece in the garden and we've never seen a speck of mildew on the foliage.
