We were downright giddy to introduce our first peony in 2017...a gold-leaf sport of the heat-loving Paeonia 'Pink Luau', which was a 1995 introduction from our friend Roy Klehm (Kreckler). The amazingly vigorous Paeonia 'Golden Sunrise' forms a 32" tall x 3' wide clump of very sturdy stems. The clump is topped early in the peony season (early May in NC) with deliciously fragrant, semi-double flowers...white with raspberry streaks flowers. It's taken us five years to rebuild stock to offer for a second time, so these are sure to be gobbled up in short order. Thanks to peony collector Hans Hansen, for sharing the original plant for us to introduce.
