(aka: Aceriphyllum rossii) This odd Chinese and Korean native makes a 1' tall x 2' wide clump in the woodland garden, composed of fleshy light green leaves that resemble a human hand. The clump is topped in April with short spikes of odd small white flowers. Mukdenia is a member of the legendary Saxifrage family, and is easily grown, especially in moist, rich, woodland conditions.
