Hosta 'Golden Needles' is a 2012 Walters Gardens introduction of an improved sport of Hosta 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles', with green flecking that covers the entire surface of the bright golden leaf instead of just a portion of the leaf center. The small-growing 6" tall x 1' wide clump appears gold from a distance, topped in mid-summer with 1' tall stalks of lavender flowers.
