Helianthus 'Berkeley Gold' is a 2025 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a Patrick McMillan collection from Berkeley County, SC. This amazing form is much tighter, more compact, and more floriferous than is typical with this species. Each clump tops out at 3' tall x 7' wide, clothed in narrow green leaves, when it bursts into flower in mid-October, with hundreds of brilliant gold daisies...a truly incredible fall show. Although a swamp native in the wild, it grows fine in average to moist garden soils.
