Geranium 'Azure Rush' is a superb addition to the hardy geranium market. Geranium 'Azure Rush' hails from Germany, where it was discovered in 2007 as a mutation on Geranium 'Rozanne' by Jan Dirk Schuiver. Geranium 'Azure Rush' has shorter internodes and consequently a more compact habit than Geranium 'Rozanne', in addition to having slightly lighter lavender flowers. Like its parent, it has the same continuous flowering habit, continuing through October. The compact 18" tall x 2' wide clump habit is truly superb in the garden where Geranium 'Rozanne' is a bit too aggressive.
