Epimedium wushanense 'Starlite' is a 2015 Plant Delights Nursery introduction...a special form of the rare Chinese fairy wings that we selected years earlier from a seedling batch. Epimedium wushanense 'Starlite' is a tight clumper, producing 2' long stalks that emerge at a 45 degree angle, forming an 18" tall x 3' wide specimen topped, starting in late March or early April, with massive, congested, terminal inflorescences of large light yellow flowers, each backed by creamy spurs. Epimedium wushanense 'Starlite' has the largest and most upright flower heads of any Epimedium wushanense we've seen...a magnificent specimen in the woodland garden!
