This rarely-offered selection of the hybrid Epimedium x versicolor is certainly one of the most stunning epimediums we grow. The foliage emerges a beautiful reddish purple with contrasting green veins. Atop the foliage, starting for us in late March, are 14" tall dense clusters of flowers that emerge with a surreal peachy-pink sunset coloration and a contrasting yellow cup. You can expect the drought-tolerant clumps of Epimedium x versicolor 'Versicolor' to spread at the rate of 4-5" per year...a truly superb groundcover.
