Epimedium 'Sunshowers' is a 2008 introduction...a delightful, small, floriferous fairy wing created by Kelly Dodson of Far Reaches Nursery. For us, Epimedium 'Sunshowers' makes a compact 8" tall x 18" wide clump of small, rounded, semi-evergreen leaflets that emerge with purple flecks. The flower spikes, which emerge for us in early April are adorned with medium-sized flowers composed of a pale pink sepal combined with a longer outward yellow spur and an inner yellow cup. In cool summers, Epimedium 'Sunshowers' has very good rebloom.
