(aka: Epimedium sagittatum Cc 950015) The rarely offered southeastern Chinese Epimedium sagittatum is renowned for many things. We value it for its ornamental value, but many folks prize it more as the active ingredient in certain male enhancement products. The spectacular, sharply triangular, glossy, evergreen, spiny-edged leaves of Epimedium sagittatum emerge bronze in spring. In mid-spring, the clumps are topped with airy terminal spikes of tiny flowers...light purple with a yellow center. Our plants are propagated from the splendid Kew Gardens form (from back when they actually shared plants), that we named Epimedium sagittatum 'Love Potion No. 9'. You're sure to love this...in sooo many ways!
