Epimedium franchetii 'Suntan' is a 2016 Plant Delights introduction...a selection of the Chinese fairy wing, whose early spring foliage emerges dark raspberry before maturing to bronze, and later to green. Epimedium franchetii 'Suntan' is topped in early spring with upright stalks of large, butter-yellow, spider-like flowers...a superb contrast against the bronze foliage. Although evergreen in our climate, we recommend removing the old foliage in late winter for a better show of the amazingly colored spring foliage.
