Epimedium fargesii is a unique and very rare Chinese epimedium species that's one of our favorites in the genus. Unfortunately, it's probably not one that will ever be appreciated by the marigold and impatiens crowd. The 18" arching flower spikes of Epimedium fargesii top the long, narrow-leaf evergreen clumps in early spring with dangling purple and white dodecatheon-like flowers...stunningly simple!
