(aka: Echinacea 'Eglow') Echinacea 'Evening Glow' is a unique coneflower hybrid that arose in Holland from assorted seed sown by Dionysius F. M. de Bont. Echinacea 'Evening Glow' boasts sturdy 34" stems of large, flat, bicolored flowers. The flowers emerge buttery yellow then gradually age to pink with a cinnamon inner cone...a fascinating focal specimen in the garden! Echinacea 'Evening Glow' has shown superb vigor and floriferousness in our garden trials. As with all coneflowers, good drainage is key. Allow a couple of months to establish in the ground before the first hard freeze, and remove all existing flower stalks at planting time.
