Echinacea 'Coral Reef' is a wild and crazy 2009 Terra Nova introduction that produces large pompom-like flowers of peachy orange, each surrounded by a small row of peachy petals...attractive to hummingbirds. The flowers are borne atop 3' tall stems starting in mid-June (NC). As with all coneflowers, well-drained soils and plenty of sun are essential.
