Dentaria 'Little Lumpkin' is our 2026 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of an extraordinarily compact natural hybrid of our native Dentaria diphylla and Dentaria dissecta, which we discovered in 2019. In six years, it has shown great landscape value as it formed a dense, refined looking mat to 1" tall x 3' wide. The dark green leaves, which emerge in fall and grow through the winter and spring, are cut into 3-5 frilly segments. Our mother plant is grown from cuttings we collected in Lumpkin County Georgia at 1,178' elevation, along the Chestatee River.
