Clematis viorna 'Groometown Garnet' is a form of our little-known native clematis (Illinois south to Georgia) shared by Plant Delights plantsman Zac Hill from his collection in Guilford County, NC. For us, Clematis viorna 'Groometown Garnet' makes a 12' tall vine adorned with an abundance of small lavender bells, each with upturned white tips, starting in mid-May and continuing into summer...seriously cute and no cutting back required.
