(aka: Carex 'Snowline', Carex 'Marginata', Carex 'Hime Kansuge') Carex conica 'Hime' is a wonderful evergreen Japanese sedge that can be used as an edger or a specimen clump. The 10" tall x 20" wide clumps of Carex 'Hime' have narrow leaves to about 6" long with thin green and white stripes. In early March (NC) Carex 'Hime' is topped with an attractive show of weeping, tan-colored flower spikes that extend just past the foliage... great for any woodland garden! Light shade to part sun and average soil moisture are fine for this easy to grow sedge.
