Baptisia 'Blonde Bombshell' is a 2014 Plant Delights/JLBG release which, in our trials, has proven to be the best yellow-flowered baptisia that we've ever grown. This amazing 2007 Baptisia sphaerocarpa x Baptisia alba hybrid makes a 40" tall specimen, including the 1' tall terminal spike that is overly endowed with very showy, buttery-yellow flowers. Baptisia 'Blonde Bombshell' typically starts flowering for us (NC) in late April. We think you're really going to enjoy having this blonde bombshell in your garden.
