Baptisia 'Angelina' is the star of the late season baptisias in our trials. This 2020 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction is a 2009 seedling, starting with genes from the tall-spiked Baptisia albescens and adding dark stems, many more flower spikes and a blush of yellow to the flowers. For us, Baptisia 'Angelina' forms a 4' tall x 4' wide clump with bare legs, tight hips, and black buds that open to light yellow. Invite 'Angelina' into your garden for a memorable spring.
