Asclepias incarnata is a widespread North American native, hailing from most of the US, with the exception of the West Coast. In the wild, it is found primarily in wetlands, but in a garden, can take all but the driest of sites, as long as it get's plenty of sun. The 50" stalks are topped with clusters of dark pinks flowers during the summer months, which will result in a bevy of butterflies and hummingbirds.
