Asarum 'Shell Shocked' is a 2013 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction that rocked the wild ginger world. This incredible selection is truly an asarum on steroids. Asarum maximum 'Shell Shocked' has huge 7.5" long x 5.5" wide, glossy, pewter leaves with an embossed tortoise shell vein pattern. For us, Asarum 'Shell Shocked' has formed a massive 18" tall x 3' wide evergreen clump, adorned in April (NC) with large black and white panda patterned flowers just below the foliage.
