Antennaria 'Buckhorn Babe' is a 2024 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of our Orange County, North Carolina selection of the widespread North American native (Maine west to Texas), Antennaria parlinii ssp. fallax. In the garden, this dry shade groundcover forms a ground-hugging mat to 30" wide in 2 years. The leaves emerge silvery, but age to a glaucous green in summer. In late spring, the clumps are topped with short, slender spikes of tan flowers.
