(aka: Paleoagave bracteosa) Agave bracteosa 'Stingray' is a 2020 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction that comes from the handiwork of plantsman Hans Hansen, who created this amazing variegated form from an original mutation on the cultivar Agave bracteosa 'Calamar'. Agave bracteosa 'Stingray' forms an octopus-like rosette of narrow, elegantly arching, scabrous, spine-free leaves, each banded with a luscious, wide creamy-yellow stripe...adding the border is like adding icing to an already delicious cake. Our ten-year-old clumps of Agave bracteosa 'Stingray' are now 18" tall x 3' wide.
