Zantedeschia 'Frozen Queen' is truly unlike anything you've ever seen before, not just in the calla lily world, but the entire plant world. This amazing seedling from Dutch calla lily specialist, Bram Breugem, emerges in late spring (NC) with green leaves with an irregular white central pattern. As the leaves expand, the central pattern continues to enlarge. In early June, contrasting cherry red, chalice-shaped flowers emerge amongst the foliage...what a riotous color combination. Moist, but well drained soils are best.
