Yucca rostrata 'Blue-haired Lady' is a 2026 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a stunning powder blue-foliaged clonal selection of the blue beaked soapwort. Our introduction represents North American genetics from near Mamulique Pass in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Our garden specimen, which went in the ground in 1999 is now 11' tall. Once the clumps start to mature (i.e. 4' tall), they are topped annually with 3' stalks of white bells in late spring. This is an incredibly drought tolerant, easy-to-grow species.
