The variegated bellwort is so rare that I've often heard it rumored that this plant really doesn't exist. Well, the truth is finally out, and so is the plant. This dainty 8" tall, woodland native sports a nice white edge around every leaf. As with regular bellwort, it emerges in very early spring and is topped by small yellow flowers. Being slowly stoloniferous, it will make a 1' wide patch in 5 years...very durable, easy to grow, and summer dormant.
