We are thrilled to finally have enough of this cool variegated spring ephemeral to share. This selection of the US East Coast native bellwort was discovered by plantsman Darrell Probst and forms a small, slowly enlarging patch of 6" tall, wiry, upright stems clothed with small leaves, each heavily flecked with a white, misty, blizzard-like pattern. Each stem ends with a small, yellow, pendant, bell-shaped flower in early spring. In 10 years, expect a 2' wide mass of stems...great for a special spot in the woodland garden!
