(aka: Trillium viridescens A3LA-055) Our offering of Trillium 'Jefferson Silver' represents garden divisions from our special silver-leaf clone of a Trillium viridescens x Trillium gracile hybrid that we found at the most southern extent of the range of Trillium viridescens near Jefferson, Texas. Trillium 'Jefferson Silver' is a fast-clumping clone that can be easily divided to spread around the garden. Starting in early April (NC), the 1' tall stalks of Trillium 'Jefferson Silver' are topped with silvery green foliage which is, in turn, topped with three-part, long maroon petals. Trillium 'Jefferson Silver' makes an extremely easy garden subject, especially in slightly moist soils.
