Trillium ludovicianum 'Alexandria' is our 2022 introduction of our nursery propagated seed strain, grown from seed of an original Larry Mellichamp collection from Alexandria, Lousiana. The plants mature at 1' tall with olive and green spotted leaves, and topped, starting for us in mid-March with thin green and green/violet petals. With age, Trillium ludovicianum 'Alexandria' forms a slowly offsetting clump. Our offering is all flowering-sized plants.
