Be sure to cue up a blast from the past by General Johnson and the Chairman of the Board when you plant this amazing toadshade. Trillium x freatum 'Sweet Carolina Girls' is our seed strain introduction of a Plant Delights/JLBG cross of Trillium cuneatum from Oconee County SC and Trillium freemanii 'Ruby Falls'. The results are wonderfully vigorous, heavily-mottled hybrids, flowering for us in mid-late March. The flowers which average just over 2" long are intermediate in width between both parents. Our offerings are all flowering-sized plants.
