(aka: Trillium foetidissimum A2LA-032c) This offering of Trillium foetidissimum represents seed-propagated flowering-sized plants from our original collection from Adams County, just south of Natchez, Mississippi, where they grew in mucky soils under a beech tree canopy. The resultant seedlings usually top out around 6" tall with olive-green leaves, heavily speckled with silver. Clumps of Trillium foetidissimum are topped with 2" tall purple petals starting in March (NC). This collection also produces lots of plants with upturned leaf tips...quite unique for Trillium foetidissimum.
