    This 2003 Hans Hansen collection of Chinese meadow rue (still an unidentified species) hails from 6,500' elevation in China's Yu Wa Valley near Nan Ping. The tiny green leaves provide a nice texture on short clumping plants. In summer, the clumps are topped with short spikes of very tiny white flowers. The texture is so fine, I like to use it as a filler in the perennial border.
