Sarracenia leucophylla 'Unstained Glass' is a Doug Walker selection of Sarracenia leucophylla var. heterophylla. The 28" tall green pitchers, produced starting in May (NC) and again in fall, are topped with white hoods with prominent green veining, unlike typical Sarracenia leucophylla, whose pitchers are veined red...quite rare and highly coveted by collectors. Sarracenia leucophylla 'Unstained Glass' is easy to grow when given full sun and a soil that stays moist, but not soggy wet. The 26" tall stalks of yellow (albino), upside-down umbrella-shaped flowers top the dormant clumps in late April.
