This amazing form of the North American native Sanguinaria canadensis comes from an Aaron Floden Illinois collection. The leaves of this bloodroot selection average 8" across, which is larger than any form of bloodroot we've seen...and we've seen lots of bloodroots. The 8" stalks of single white daisy-like flowers emerge in late winter, about the same time as the leaves.
