(aka: Salvia nemorosa 'Sweet 16') Salvia 'Sweet 16' is a 2011 Salvia x sylvestris introduction from our friends at Walters Gardens...a dramatic improvement over the popular Salvia 'Eveline'. Starting in early April, the 2' wide deciduous clumps of basal foliage are topped with 2' tall spikes, each laden with lavender pink flowers with a darker lavender lip. The flower stalks are branched for significantly more flower power. Salvia 'Sweet 16' is perfect for average to fairly dry soils.
