Polygonatum 'Kon Chiri Shima' is a highly prized selection of the Asian Polygonatum lasianthum var. tricosanthum. The 1' long, thin, arching stems are clothed with 3" long x 1.5" wide green leaves that are heavily banded with chartreuse sectors. The stems are adorned by small white pendulous flowers in late April (NC). Polygonatum 'Kon Chiri Shima' forms a 2' wide patch in 10 years.
