Pleopeltis lepidopteris 'Arroio dos Ratos' is a 2024 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a second Wade Roitsch (Yucca Do) collection of the fascinating Brazilian coastal fern. Unlike our earlier introduction, P. 'Morro dos Conventos' which is the tetraploid form (has double the normal number of chromosomes), this diploid form is less cold hardy than the tetraploid form and has fronds that are much narrower, shorter, and the growth more dense.
