Origanum 'Kent Beauty' has long been prized as one of the most spectacular of the flowering oreganos. This hybrid of the Turkish Origanum rotundifolium and the Greek Origanum scabrum makes a stunning garden specimen to 10" tall x 2' wide. Kent Beauty oregano arises from a winter deciduous base to produce 10" tall arching stems, each clothed with small glaucous green leaves are topped all summer with pendulous flower heads that resemble pink hops. Kent Beauty oregano is so spectacular that it's often used in summer containers where it isn't hardy in the ground.
