(aka: Ophiopogon japonicus CPC 17.11.00.1) Ophiopogon japonicus 'Tuff Tuft Lavender' is a 2014 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a Darrell Probst Chinese collection. Like its clumping sister, Ophiopogon japonicus 'Tuff Tuft Lavender' forms a 20" tall x 4' wide clump of very thin, dark, evergreen foliage. The thick clumps are adorned in June/July (NC) with dense clusters of mauvy lavender flowers.
