xMangave 'Purplicious' is a 2022 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction that started life here at JLBG as a seedling of xMangave 'Bloodspot'. Out of our entire seed crop, this plant stood out as very special. The 10" tall x 18" wide solitary specimen is composed of stunning grey lavender sandpapery leaves, edged with a thin black stripe and tipped with short black terminal spines. xMangave 'Purplicious' makes a stunning container specimen in frost free climates.
