Mangave 'Life on Mars' is a new creamy-edged sport of Mangave 'Mission to Mars'. The parent is a hybrid with Agave shawii, Agave x pseudoferox, and a couple of manfredas, selected by Hans Hansen of Walters Gardens. This selection eventually matures at2' tall x 5' wide. When grown in plenty of sun, the entire foliage takes on a stunning reddish hue.
